Maneki Neko is known as the Beckoning/Welcoming cat and also the good fortune cat. He is believed to bring good luck to the owner. The text on the coin (千万両) means ten million ryō. Ten million ryō represents an extraordinary sum of money.
Pendant measures approximately 34mm ( ~1 3/8") in width and 38mm (~1 1/2") in height at its widest points. Pendant hangs on a 18" rhodium plated chain with spring clasp closure. To those of you with metal allergies please note: this pendant contains Nickel.
